The Mel Brigg unpacking
Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 10:02PM Today I supervised the unpacking of thirty-three absolutely brilliant paintings. Beautiful, striking works of art executed with great skill and a world of talent. There's always something exciting about unboxing new artworks for an exhibition (and I know I've said this before) but this was particularly special.
If you can make it along for the opening on the evening of Tuesday the 6th, or visit us while the works are on display, I am certain you will agree with my sentiments.
If you're unable to make it into the gallery between May 6th and 20th, you can view the works online from the 7th of May.

The exhibition was a wonderful success with a fantastic turn out. Many thanks to everyone that came along to make it such a great evening and special thanks to Dr. John Hewson for opening the exhibition.
All the paintings can now be viewed online here. Please keep in mind that these paintings are much more spectacular in person. You simply can't get a real feeling for the wonderful texture and depth in these works without seeing them live.
